Actually, Monica, we were stalking each other, the critter was right curious and I was trying to get the perfect shot. Piper co-operated by remaining real still where I told her to "stay".
The deer here aren't afraid of cars, let alone humans But there have been a lot of cougar sightings on the peninsula recently and even some sheep and goat kills, so the deer might soon be getting more nervous. I make sure Piper stays real close to me when we're walking in the woods now.
